Inside Bill's Head -- Previously Known as (Inside the Head of a Grieving Single Dad)
In August of 2009 my wife Jennifer passed away from an Anaplastic Astrocytoma Brain Tumor. She was only 38 years old. She left me and our two little girls Abbie and Allie to continue life’s journey.
I promised her that I would NOT become angry and bitter about what happened...in order to do that I am attempting to write to express my thoughts and feelings.
This site is a place where I can express my thoughts, feelings and rants...
Put your frustrations on the little white golf ball and go whack the shit out of it :-) Take the girls and laugh at them as they give it a try... Pounding balls at the range always, always helped me clear my mind...
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jeff. Maybe there is some place you could let out some of the strain? Golf sounds like a good idea. Harry started hacking away at our shrubs in our yard last summer.. He had always wanted them gone,[giant & scratchy] so they didn't have a chance. Also, like I've mentioned about me walking, Harry also started walking/running at our YMCA.(One side benefit of him wanting to release painful/numbing feelings, is he's minus 40lbs so far.) It's important to be true to yourself and your feelings. Since it is anger you're feeling, you shouldn't hold it in. It would be good though, if you could channel that energy and just knock something out or around..
ReplyDeleteOn a side note - I like the yellow note idea.
