Featured Dad

A couple of months ago I was contacted by the person who founded and runs a website for Single Dad’s.

The website is:

I was skeptical at first but after trading emails back and forth and browsing through the website I was impressed. It’s a great resource for Single Father’s. I was asked to consider being a “Featured Dad” and at first didn’t feel worthy of an honor like that. After talking about it with a good friend of mine I submitted my story to the editor of the site.

So, for the month of August 2010 - I am the Featured Dad of the Month on Single Super Dad’…check it out…the article is too long to post on the blog so you will have to follow the link to the site.

  1. That is so nice. Pretty soon people will be asking for your autograph. :-)

I just think it is great how you are not only helping yourself but undoubtedly helping other men as well. There is a lot to be sad for that, considering (stereotypically) most men don't share a lot of their emotions.

  2. Bill,

What a lovely and touching article! I know many readers will be inspired by your journey. The title says it all, you really are carrying forward a legacy of love. Of course many of us already know that you are "Super", but it's nice to see that it's now official ;).

  3. I just stumbled across your blog. I am a single mom after losing my husband this past November to liver failure. I admire your strength and honesty. I hope you continue blogging on your journey to healing.

Inside Bill's Head -- Previously Known as (Inside the Head of a Grieving Single Dad)

In August of 2009 my wife Jennifer passed away from an Anaplastic Astrocytoma Brain Tumor. She was only 38 years old. She left me and our two little girls Abbie and Allie to continue life’s journey.

I promised her that I would NOT become angry and bitter about what order to do that I am attempting to write to express my thoughts and feelings.

This site is a place where I can express my thoughts, feelings and rants...
